Track 1 – “IF YOU LOVE ME”

Now, if you love me, the way you say you do
If you love me, the way I love you
If you love me, I just wish that I knew
If you love me, Honey if you do

You could write your own dictionary
It won’t surprise me, if you do some day
Ya pick your words as if you’re pickin’ flowers
You always seem to have a fresh bouquet

Sometimes you make me feel like quite a woman
Sayin’ all those charming words you do
Deep down inside my heart remains a question
I wonder “if” and I feel like a fool

So, If you love me, the way you say you do
If you love me, the way I love you
If you love me, I just wish that I knew
If you love me, Honey if you do

Your words are like a magic stream of water
Refreshing me each time you let them flow
You’re the-King of Words, I’m wrapped around your finger
But I wonder & wish that I could know

If you love me, the way you say you do
If you love me, the way I love you
If you love me, I just wish that I knew
If you love me, Honey if you do
If you love me, Honey if you do

Track 2 – “PENNIES ON THE GROUND”

 Just outside my window…
Thanks for the reminders the pennies on the ground
Hummingbirds fly up to me when no-one’s around
A butterfly he follows me everywhere I go
On my walk, on my porch, just outside my window

Are you telling me you love me when I hear you sing?
Are you staying close beside me til I grow my wing?
Do you come to see me to tell me you’re OK?
Or are you simply waiting there so we can fly away? (fly away)

Every time I feel you there you always catch my eye
Your gentleness, unspoken word as you flutter by
Brightly colored feathers some yellow, others green
Just like I a hummingbird your wings are aubergine

You came to me again today & floated in the air
You danced & spread your wings for me, seems you have no cares
The butterfly still follows me everywhere I go
On my walk, on my porch just outside my window.
The butterfly still follows me…

Track 3 – “I COULD QUIT YOU IN A MINUTE”

Oh Honey… just a minute
You probably think I’m wrapped around your finger
Some might even think that I’m a fool
But I know I could quit you in a minute
But just a minute, cause I’m busy loving you
Ya know, I could quit you in a minute
It’s just that right now, I don’t have the time
Well Honey, I know I could quit you in a minute
The minute you let go of this heart of mine
I could quit you in a minute, this I know…(this I know)
If only, I didn’t love you so
I could quit you in a minute, but my heart wouldn’t be in it
I could quit you in a minute
Oh Honey, just a minute

You probably think I’m wrapped around your finger
Some might even think that I’m a fool
But I know I could quit you in a minute
But just a minute, cause I’m busy loving you

I could quit you in a minute, this I know
If only I didn’t love you so
I could quit you in a minute
but my heart wouldn’t be in it
I could quit you in a minute
But Honey, just a minute

Track 4 – “FACE TO FACE”

All alone in my bed alone in my head, only me
Such sorrow & pain He’s taken the best from me
Went to bed heavy hearted unsure, all alone, only me
My heart was so broken Big dreams just a big fantasy

Half dazed I woke up he was there in the midst of my dream
Dad stared at my face He smiled & said he was pleased

Kissed my cheek & this mist gently tingled & danced on my face
Warmed my heart from the depths of my soul hit my toes at fast pace
As I fell back to sleep my heart was so heavy again
Dad arrived just in time he stood by my side once again

The look in his eye said to me all is well trust in Him
Hold His hand and in time soon we’ll be face to face yet again

Hold His hand and in time soon we’ll be face to face yet again

Track 5 – “I WANNA’ BE A STAR IN HEAVEN”

I’ve always been a country singer Sung songs happy & blue
Never made it to the top of the earth But I’d sure like to make it with You

I wanna’ be a star in Heaven & sing my thanks for all You do
I wanna’ be a star in Heaven, sing with the angels for You

Lord you know I haven’t been perfect You know we’ve all done wrong
You know that I love Ya & I wanna’ be with Ya & sing those good country songs

I wanna’ be a star in Heaven… & sing my thanks for all You do
I wanna’ be a star in Heaven, sing with the angels for You

Lord I wanna’ thank ya For my talent & all You allow me to be
When I die, please take me up Make a star in Heaven out of me

I wanna’ be a star in Heaven Singin’ thanks for all You do
I wanna’ be a star in Heaven, Sing with the angels for You
I wanna’ be a star in Heaven, Singin’ thanks for all you do
I wanna’ be a star in Heaven, Sing with the angels for You
Sing with all the angels for You

Track 6 – “BY HIS GRACE”

Many days of trouble, many days of doubt
Alone I sit and wonder, why won’t He help me out?
So much loss & sorrow, so much strife & pain
In the morning I wake thinkin’ what in life’s to gain?

Along this lonesome journey, God always holds my hand
Leaves tiny crumbs along the way, when I’m in sinking sand
Those tiny crumbs they get me there, one more step I take
Before I know the sadness lifts & joyfulness He makes

He said “be still and know I’m God”, not easy but I try
These are the words I cling to, every morning as I cry
The world knows me as happy, a smile upon my face
God gives His breath of life to me, saved only by His grace
He said “be still and know I’m God”, not easy but I try
These are the words I cling to every morning as I cry

The world knows me as happy, a smile upon my face
God gives His breath of life to me, saved only by His grace
God gives His breath of life to me, saved only by His grace

Track 1 – “PUT 2 & 2 TOGETHER”

Way up on a mountaintop, At a store called Way Back When
There was a tiny lady, who dug through every bin
Most times she came alone, Sometimes she’d bring a friend
Momma didn’t recognize her, thought she lived around the bend
Put 2 and 2 together, You might know who she was
Her husband was a King, At least that was the buzz
Her daughters name is Lisa, and you know that because
Put 2 and 2 together, You might know who she was
Spent hours & hours a Shoppin’, Some… would stop and stare
Knew she looked familiar, Didn’t wanna’ glare
Always wore dark glasses, A kerchief in her hair
She told my mom the story, Bout her house up in Big Bear
Put 2 and 2 together, You might know who she was
Her husband was a King, At least that was the buzz
Her daughters name is Lisa, and you know that because
Put 2 and 2 together, You might know who she was
Many months went by, Momma finally asked her name
She said my names Priscilla, AND on that bright light came!
Married to Elvis Presley, Indeed he was her flame
USE to live in Graceland, ain’t it funny how lives change?
Put 2 and 2 together, You might know who she was
Her husband was a King, At least that was the buzz
Her daughters name is Lisa, and you know that because
Put 2 and 2 together, You might know who she was

Track 2 – “ELVIS ON THE JUKEBOX NOONE ELSE AROUND”

We walked in and sat down
The place was empty no one in town
It was cold out snow on the ground
It was his birthday we gathered round
Elvis on the jukebox no one else around
Stood at the counter 2 girls were there
Got a pizza, 3 large and beer
Out of the Jukebox “hounddog” arose
Was “The King” there?  All doors were closed
Elvis on the jukebox no one else around
Never woulda’ dreamt it, there’s no doubt about it it’s true
The “King of Rock & Roll” was playing music on the jukebox
The whole night through
The room was quiet when on it came
A haunted jukebox no one to blame
We looked around but no one there
Out of the silence from thin air
Elvis on the jukebox no one else around
Never woulda’ dreamt it, no doubt about it it’s true
The “King of Rock & Roll” was playing music on the jukebox
The whole night through
Then they told us a little more
To the story we knew before
You see this happened once or twice
A haunted jukebox only at night
Elvis on the jukebox no one else around
Elvis on the jukebox no one else around
Elvis on the jukebox no one else around

Track 3 – “CJ”

Our Servers name was CJ from Montana
She had this pretty bracelet on her wrist
I joked you need to give that bracelet to me
She took it off and said I must insist
She said it cost her only fifteen dollars
At a great boutique in her hometown
She dropped it at my table then I hollered
She left so fast I had to flag her down
Some give, some take, there’s no mistake
This friendship found you cannot break
Some give some take, there’s no mistake
An open heart you cannot fake
Then I told miss CJ I was joshin’
She didn’t need to give that gem to me
Told me she was headin’ home tomorra’
It was a gift, so I should let it be
Felt like friends forever very quickly
You see she understood me right away
Things are yours for only just a moment
There’s more joy makin’ someone else’s day
Some give, some take, there’s no mistake
This friendship found you cannot break
Some give some take, there’s no mistake
An open heart you cannot fake
If someone likes somethin’ that I’m wearin’
I’ll do the same and gift it on the spot!
Unless it was a present with true meaning
The sacrifice is worth it so why not
Some give, some take, there’s no mistake
This friendship found you cannot break
Some give some take, there’s no mistake
An open heart you cannot fake
Some give, some take, there’s no mistake
This friendship found you cannot break
Some give some take, there’s no mistake
An open heart you cannot fake
An open heart you cannot fake
An open heart you cannot fake

Track 4 – “COW”

When I was just a girl my momma’d say to me
Why would he buy the cow, if he can get the milk for free
Now I understand just what she meant by that
If a boy says I love you scat in 2 seconds flat
1st time my heart was broken I didn’t understand
1st time around the block, I only held his hand
2nd time I was wounded, Hurt just like before
The 2nd that he left me, My heart done hit the floor
When I was just a girl my momma’d say to me
Why would he buy the cow, if he can get the milk for free
Now I understand just what she meant by that
If a boy says I love you scat in 2 seconds flat
3rd time was not a charm, that boy had done me wrong
Caught him with another it hurt but I acted strong
4th time I understood, lessons learned along the way
My momma she was right, & I heard it every day
When I was just a girl my momma’d say to me
Why would he buy the cow, if he can get the milk for free
Now I understand just what she meant by that
If a boy says I love you scat in 2 seconds flat
Moral to the story, I did what momma said
Found myself a good guy, one that I’m gonna Wed!
He truly adores me, to the ends of the earth
Kisses the ground I walk on, and loved for all I’m worth
When I was just a girl my momma’d say to me
Why would he buy the cow, if he can get the milk for free
Now I understand just what she meant by that
If a boy says I love you scat in 2 seconds flat
Now I understand just what she meant by that
If a boy says I love you scat in 2 seconds flat

Track 5 – “MOMMA!”

Taught us all the things in life that matter
Taught us all the things a girl should know
Love the Lord with all your heart don’t judge another
In life you always reap what you sow
Momma she knew all the answers
Momma read the Bible every day
Momma she taught us all the stories
She’d say girls get on your knees and pray
Patience in all things (sometimes the hardest)
Be kind to all you know every day
Color of your skin it doesn’t matter
Don’t owe another man, no debt to pay
Momma she knew all the answers
Momma read the Bible every day
Momma she taught us all the stories
She’d say girls get on your knees & pray
In this fallen world there are temptations
Try to always do the best you can
This is the reason why we need a savior
He’s there when you fall to hold your hand
Momma she knew all the answers
Momma read the Bible every day
Momma she taught us all the stories
She’d say girls get on your knees & pray
Momma she knew all the answers
Momma read the Bible every day
Momma she taught us all the stories
She’d say girls get on your knees & pray
She’d say girls get on your knees & pray
She’d say girls get on your knees & pray

Track 1 – “DAD’S SHOE TREE”

On the stretch to Placerville, there were boots on every post
Nailed all kinds of places, even along the coast
An idea came upon our pop, to do the very same
On a tree that dropped it’s top, he decided to play this game
He nailed his shoes upon it, he nailed mom’s shoes too
He named this tree a ”Shoe Tree” where his boots were stuck like glue
He’d-show-friends-round-the-property and take them on a walk
Chat about all types of trees making small talk
He’d say that there are Digger pines Manzanita & Madrone
“Here’s one called a Shoe Tree” When he’d say it, they would moan
He nailed his shoes upon it, he nailed mom’s shoes too
He named this tree a ”Shoe Tree” where his boots were stuck like glue
The tree fell down upon the ground shoes were everywhere
even along the horsetrail, more-shoes-down-there
Many on their walks would see, boots from miles around
Word about his Shoe Tree, created a stir downtown
He nailed his shoes upon it, he nailed mom’s shoes too
He named this tree a ”Shoe Tree” where his boots were stuck like glue
Saw there on a nature map a detail that amazed
Daddy rubbed his eyes because it had him really dazed
Sitting there next to the spot  that marked the old horse trail
Was the famous Shoe Tree with a boot and a nail
He nailed his shoes upon it, He nailed moms shoes too
He named this tree a Shoe Tree, where his boots were stuck like glue
Where his boots were stuck like glue
Where his boots were stuck like glue
Glue…..

Track 2 – “ROAD TO ROSIE MCCANN”

I’ve been a long long time, the Road to Rosie Mccann
Gotta have a shower put some Prell in my hair at the motel where I am
It’s a big long bar in Santa Cruz I don’t go for the food I go for the booze
I been a long long time on the Road to Rosie McCann
I visualize that picture of her, my she looks so fine
She reminds me of Jane Seymour from the movie Somewhere in Time
I like to see that picture of her on the wall
I climb 32 steps if I have to crall
Long long time on the Road to Rosie McCann
I climb 21 steps and 11 more I look at my watch its quarter til 4
I’m way over due for happy hour… think I’m gonna order me a whiskey and sour
Yea that sounds good!
I’ve been a long long time, on the Road to Rosie Mccann
It’s quite a hike to meet my buddy Mike
I’ll get there when I can
It’s great to be alive I often say, think I’m gonna have myself an IPA
Long long time on the Road to Rosie McCann
I climb 21 steps and 11 more I look at my watch its quarter til 4
I’m way over due for happy hour… whatever happened to my whiskey and sour
(where’s my whiskey and sour)
I’ve been a long long time, on the Road to Rosie Mccann
It’s quite a hike to meet my buddy Mike
I’ll get there when I can
It’s great to be alive I often say, think I’m gonna another IPA
Long long time on the Road to Rosie McCann
I’ve been a long time on the Road to Rosie McCann
I’ve been a Long long long long time on the Road to Rosie McCann

Track 3 – “32 STEPS”

32 steps 32 steps 32 steps to Rosie McCanns
32 steps 32 steps 32 steps to Rosie McCanns
He was 86, on his hands & knees
Crawling up my stairs, said “can I help you please?”
Tried to give him a hand, he said “leave me alone”
“Can’t you see that I’m in training?”
I said “rainin’ for what” Replied “Rosie McCanns
“a bar in Santa Cruz, has 32 steps”
“I meet a friend of mine, have a couplea beers
This is our routine!”
32 steps 32 steps 32 steps to Rosie McCanns
32 steps 32 steps 32 steps to Rosie McCanns
There’s no better bar than Rosie McCanns
Some kind of charm, not flashy or glam
It’s the place to be, where everyone meets
Bottles of booze & charm you can’t beat
He called me today, from Rosie McCanns
Joy in his voice, a cane in his hand
Climbing the stairs, thrilled as could be
Just 31 more, to the top he would be
32 steps 32 steps 32 steps to Rosie McCanns
32 steps 32 steps 32 steps to Rosie McCanns
To the top of the peak, he had quite a hike
Never met an IPA that he didn’t like.
On the bar stool he sat, hopped-up as could be
those 32 steps were his destiny
32 steps 32 steps 32 steps to Rosie McCanns
32 steps 32 steps 32 steps to Rosie McCanns
32 steps 32 steps 32 steps to Rosie McCanns
32 steps 32 steps 32 steps to Rosie McCanns

Track 4 – “COME HERE BOY”

On a Monday morning everything was going fine
Husband off to work I had the job thing on my mind
Heading out the door I saw my neighbor cross the way
That is when I saw him jump, and then he ran away
Said come here boy come fetch your toy, I’m the one to see
Sit roll over and play dead, you found a friend in me
Come Here boy come fetch your toy I’m the one to see
Sit roll over and play dead you found a friend in me
Sooner than I knew it he was standing at my door
Saw him jump a couple times as he had done before
Let him in the house and called my hubby right away
He told me to call the pound and go merrily on your way
Said come here boy come fetch your toy, I’m the one to see
Sit roll over and play dead you found a friend in me
Come Here boy come fetch your toy I’m the one to see
Sit roll over and play dead, you found a friend in me (come here boy)
Plotted with my sister to keep the pup I found,
A funny smile a curly tail, fur was tan and brown
Realized this funny dog made our family whole
Before you knew he had a house, even a doggie bowl
Said come here boy come fetch your toy, I’m the one to see
Sit roll over and play dead, you found a friend in me
Said come here boy come fetch your toy, I’m the one to see
Sit roll over and play dead, you found a friend in me
Said come here boy come fetch your toy I’m the one to see
Sit roll over and play dead
You found a friend, found a friend, found a friend in me

Track 5 – “QUITTER”

Met him many years ago I knew his sister too
Soon became a romance, turned my brown eyes blue
Coulda been a life long thing it felt so very right
Time went by my lover changed didn’t happen over night
He’s a Quitter but I’m not bitter bless his heart
He’s a Quitter but I’m not bitter bless his heart
Found another gal one night this girl she took his heart
Stole him right from under me he knew he played apart
Didn’t play his cards right not the man I thought hed be
Fell so hard for her Kerplunk right down on bended knee
He’s a Quitter but I’m not bitter bless his heart
He’s a Quitter but I’m not bitter bless his heart
We were together a long time ago, outa picture just like that
No reason no rhym just bye bye NOW
Even left without his hat
Just about the time my ship had sailed to better seas (better seas)
Now he wants me to himself he’s back on bended knee
Those who know me very well know I’m not one to gloat
Gotta say I told you so, he really missed the boat
He’s a Quitter but I’m not bitter bless his heart
He’s a Quitter but I’m not bitter bless his heart
He’s a Quitter
